A Special Note About the “Going Home Again” Series

The “Going Home Again” Series is the creation of Debra Sorensen Roidl, a Professional Geriatric Care Manager (PGCM) assisting families with their elderly parents in keeping them well cared for and safe. Sharing her first-hand experience as a long-distance caregiver, she weaves light-hearted humor with the emotionality of aging as a way to educate others about ways of coping and preparing for the future of aging parent, relatives, and friends. Her story follows her journey of caregiving and hopefully provide some helpful information and relief for others as they see the commonality we all share as the ‘sandwich generation’ with aging seniors and long term care choices and requirments.
